Laura Bolin, MA CCC/SLP brings experience and world travel to Lakeshore Speech Therapy. Prior to completing her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Akron, she worked in educational publishing and taught English as a foreign language to adults and children. Laura received her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Sociology from Hiram College in Ohio as well as a Master’s degree in Spanish from Middlebury College in Vermont. She has lived and worked for several years in London, UK as well as Madrid, Spain. Laura has had experience working with children in both the public school and the private practice settings. Her interests include bilingual language development, articulation and phonology disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, and executive functioning. She understands the importance of working with parents to increase carryover of skills addressed in speech therapy sessions.
Laura currently lives in Lakewood with her wife and three cats. In her spare time she loves going for walks in the Metroparks, going to local theater shows, and traveling. She looks forward to working with you and your child soon!
