Libby Farrell

Libby has been a licensed Speech Language Pathologist for the past eight years. After earning her Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University, Libby completed her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology at Cleveland State University in 2014 and then moved to Chicago. While in Chicago, much of Libby’s experience was spent working in a school setting in self-contained special education classrooms. There she gained extensive experience working with people with complex communication needs and therefore have a strong background in augmentative alternative communication (AAC) systems.

Libby’s time in Chicago also led her to GiGi’s Playhouse, a Down Syndrome Achievement Center, where she implemented a speech and language program for people with Down Syndrome. Libby has experience working closely with this population.

Recently relocated back to the west side of Cleveland, Libby is now working in private and outpatient pediatric clinic settings, as well as GiGi’s Playhouse Cleveland. Outside of her work as an SLP, Libby enjoys biking, skiing, traveling, attending concerts, and practicing photography.
