Mary A. Yutzy, M.A., CCC-SLP has been a speech/language pathologist for 37 years. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Akron. The majority of Mary’s career has focused on evaluating and treating the school aged population. Mary is certified by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), and is licensed by the state of Ohio in Speech/Language Pathology. Mary is a member of the Ohio School Speech Pathology and Educational Audiology Coalition.
Mary’s areas of interest include motor speech disorder, phonology, language development and autism. She has been certified in the TEACCH method, has taken many continuing education classes for the PROMPT technique, Assistive Technology and the Picture Exchange Communication System. She also has basic to intermediate signing skills for early language learners.
Mary lives in Berea, Ohio with her husband Jim. She has three grown children and three grandbabies! Mary has a passion for the field of speech/language pathology and enjoys the challenges and the rewards of improving the communication skills of her clients.
