Wendi Willmer has 20+ years of experience working with children of all ages and various communication needs. Ms. Willmer is a Board Certified Specialist in Fluency, possessing in depth knowledge on how to treat stuttering in people of all ages. Ms. Willmer also has extensive experience in working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Ms. Willmer pursued specialized graduate school training focusing on early language development, and completed her clinical fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Her work experience includes private practice, hospital, and school placements. She uses a family centered approach which recognizes parents as an important part of the therapy process. She loves being part of the team at Lakeshore and helping children achieve their fullest potential with communication skills.
